It was James and George Usher at the Cutting Room. James is George's 10 year-old son, and the club was packed to the rafters to hear their full band set. The future of rock looked to the past in a show of mostly covers, the most recent of which was "Green Tambourine".
They performed an original tune written by dad and son. Laura Cantrell's name popped up on audities this week, they performed "Not the Trembling Kind", a George Usher tune which was the title track of a Laura Cantrell CD.
See ya,
Sherman
