Fans of the now defunct Lancaster Pa. trio Suddenly, Tammy! might be
pleased to know that songwriter/pianist/vocalist Beth Sorrentino has a
new album out (no bass and drums this time) called "Nine Songs, One
Story" and it's available via eMusic. I'm really enjoying it. It's just
Beth and her piano this time. She's living in New York, teaching music
full time at a public school, writing, recording and playing out when
she can, according to some cursory online research. She has a myspace
page also, but the material there is at least 3 years old. Some good bio
info, though.
BTW, I'm looking once again for the 1993 s/t cd from the band if anyone
happens to have one they'd like to trade or sell. 1995's "We Get There
When We Do" is always in rotation here at my place.
