WOW!
those French knew...
that's how i found out about The Groovies and all kinds of stuff, from
early 70s
French rock mags (i grew up in Montreal) like Rock and Folk, huge colour
write ups and pin ups on all these bands, iggy, mc5, groovies, etc.... and
i go to the record store and they're all selling for a buck or less...
what is wrong with this picture?
right away from watching this video, I can see where all the 70s
"rockeurs" got their look...
what a band!
Check out Magic Christian, if you can - saw them at SXSW - you won't be
disappointed.
