I've actually always wondered why everyone hates this album so much. If you
want to talk about Oasis beginning with "Standing on the Shoulder of
Giants," then I'm definitely with you--they just got boring. But I still
hear a ton of great songs on "Be Here Now:" the title track, "It's Getting
Better, Man," "Stand By Me," "Don't Go Away," "My Big Mouth," "All Around
the World," etc... this is just a few. I'll admit that "D'You Know What I
Mean?" and "Magic Pie" are both pretty lame, but I've always thought the
rest of it ranked with their earlier stuff?

FWIW, I think this may be my second favorite Oasis album, after only the
debut. Something about "Morning Glory" feels a bit... safe? --J
