True, and I count SW as one of my all-time favourites, but after Secret 
Life of Plants (which for me also had some "Why is this on the album 
again?" moments) much of his output has made me simply hang my head and 
say "Oh why, Stevie, why?"

Exception: "As." Can't remember what album that was on.

Moving on ...

Anybody think of Thomas Dolby as inconsistent? I recall "Aliens Ate My 
Buick" as an overall lackluster album, but certain tunes such as 
"Budapest by Blimp" remain unforgettable. Then again, I don't think he 
has had a large output, so determining whether he is consistent or lost 
his shine (aside from the head) might be difficult.

I also thought of something interesting ... Consistent in my opinion: 
Peter Gabriel. Inconsistent in my opinion: Phil Collins. Ah, but when 
they were together..... :))
