I agree that this kind of stuff sucks. I can't tell you how many duplicate
japanese releases I have bought over the years for one extra track...

In this case I'll probably buy one, then swipe the other bonus tracks
wherever I can find them.

Someone asked me a question about how to download the "No Matter What" video
that is on the def leppard site since there is no download link. I answered
and told them how in today's blog on my site, and there is a direct download
link in the blog. If you don't know how to do this it might be of interest
to you.

Also a high quality mp3 of the excellent MP3 Six Feet Under by Jon Auer is
available at his label's site. More info on my site as I can't remember the
url off the top of my head.

Cheers,
Gary

I have to buy three different versions?? I'm screwed if I support my indie
retailer?? Can I rename the cd "NO" ?

And it's not an accident - they have a contest you can enter but you have to
buy ALL THREE versions of the cd. So much for blaming the record company.

arrgghhh.....from their website...

If you buy the CD at any Target store, you will find two extra tracks: a
2005 live version of "ACTION" and Leppard's version of the McGuinness Flint
song "WHEN I'M DEAD AND GONE."
Those who pick up the album at Best Buy will be treated to a live version of
"NO MATTER WHAT" and "WINTER SONG", originally recorded by Lindisfarne.
And Wal-Mart is selling an exclusive EP with covers of these five classics:
"AMERICAN GIRL" (originally recorded by Tom Petty), "SEARCH AND DESTROY"
(original by Iggy & The Stooges; lead vocals by Phil), "SPACE ODDITY" (David
Bowie), "DEAR FRIENDS" (original by Queen; featuring, for the first time,
Sav on lead vocals), and "HEARTBEAT" (Jobriath). The Wal-Mart bonus CD also
contains nearly eight minutes of interview material.
