A buddy of mine would freak to have the first 3 on CD... Personally they
were just kinda there for me. Not bad at all, but nothing that special. I
remember someone telling me how much they sounded like early grin in the
70s, so maybe that was why I was disapointed. I was expecting 1+1 or
something.

Anyway, Somebody has digitized a few tracks. You can find a few from their 3
seventies albums, and many tracks from the two releases from the 90s at
chrwradio.com. An easier way is to go to singingfish.com (one of my favorite
places to preview mp3s), deselect everything except mp3, and then search for
thundermug. You'll get links to the mp3s on chrwradio.com and can download
them.

Cheers,
Gary

None of Thundermug's first three Axe Records LPs have made it onto CD though
you can find their two late '90s reunion releases on www.musicstack.com or
www.gemm.com

Their only Top40 hit "Africa" was released on a series of comps in the early
'90s called 'Made In Canada' (they appear on Volume 3 with Klaatu and fellow
Axe Records artist Major Hoople's Boarding House).

I am currently in talks with a former Axe Records honcho about getting this
stuff released....maybe next year.
