I'd like to know cd stores (locations included) in Manhattan where to
find cd's from indie labels. I'm especially looking for the last cd's by
The Lassie Fondation, Readymade and Sambassadeur, but also a few by
other indie / shoegazer / power pop bands. I knew Tower carried a lot of
indie stuff too, but as I was there many years ago, I don't know whether
it still does, or even if it's still there. As the person that is going
to NYC is not a music fan, and her time there will be short, if you have
a single store to point me, that would be even better. I also need a
place where she might find The Big Takeover mag (with older issues also
welcome).
