Hi Bill - Records Plus was located in Rocky Point LI, I actually worked for
Mark at the store for a short period and got paid in records :-)
This was during the early 80's and Bruce was expanding Records Stop, I think
at one point he had at least 4 stores that I know of; Ronkonkoma, Center
Moriches, Riverhead and Rocky Point.
He wanted me to run the Riverhead store but I had a pretty good job at the
time and though it was a record collectors dream job I had a gut feeling
that the store wouldn't last.

Sure enough by the end of the 80's, Bruce was back to the main store in
Ronkonkoma.
Still doing well though, the only place I know of on eastern LI that still
has tons of vinyl and plenty of used CD's. Though his main stock is stuck in
the 70's with a big emphasis on 70's prog and native Long Island bands like
the Good Rats and Zebra.

Ok two posts in one year, that has got to be my personal record :-)

Keith
