Jeff and Bill,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm really very touched
by them. I hope it's clear that in some way I just wanted to share
in my own excitement for this change and what it means to me. I feel
very humbled and blessed for this chance (and I don't use the word
blessed that often and feel it this strongly).
For anyone interested, the work feels like a perfect fit for me per
loss and working through loss is what I feel very comfortable with
and/or suited for. Well, it's just such an essential aspect of life
for us all, it's what connects us all, whatever it's form.
People suffering from these losses that are so life changing and
identity changing, with so much emotional pain, and yet can come out
with such courage and depth of character/spirit.. is really awe
inspiring. I feel fortunate to be in relationship to their process
of healing and finding new meaning in life. My best to you Jeff, I'm
sure you have enriched the life of those in the helping professon as
well.

The nonprofit I am joining is called The Courage Center. If your
interested...
