FWIW to anyone who might care: After 14.5 years, I'm changing jobs,
leaving the corporate world and going back to working as a therapist
for a nonprofit. They assisting people living with life changing
physical disabilities and their ongoing adjustment, acceptance, etc.
I'm just thrilled about it and feel grateful for what this work will
bring to me.

I'm sending my most heartfelt congratulations to you for deciding to go
back to work for a non-profit. As a disabled person who often is on the
receiving end of some of the very benefits you mentioned, I can
certainly assure you that all the work done to help those of us who
could use a hand, even if it's only every so often, is VERY much
appreciated. I think it's the very best possible thing that one can do
for a living. God bless everyone in healthcare, social services and all
the "helping" professions. You all make SUCH a difference.
