It also doesn't make sense. Since the keys are non-symmetrical, it
would be more difficult for a trained keyboardist to have to re-learn
one hand "backwards" ... but then again I am not one to argue with
genius.

Wasn't there also some trumpet player who used to play left-handed?
This was back in the day... I can't recall.
