There should be lots of disagreement here, as Queen dabbled in different
genres throughout its existence. It's four songwriters had different
fortes. Pompous glammy metal at the start, into more straightforward R&R
in the middle, Top 40 pop towards the end. I have been following the
band since about 1978 and have all the records through Hot Space, or was
that Flash Gordon, yet I have friends whose favorite Queen songs I barely
know, from their later albums.

With that preface, my all-time favorite Queen record is The Game, which a
lot of Queen fans hate. Second would be Sheer Heart Attack, and that's
quite a different record. I also love Day and Jazz. I can't listen to
Hot Space, except for Under Pressure. The rest fall in between. My .02.
