I'm looking forward to the Stockton record - not sure when it'll be released
; I believe that the band had done some recording at Ron Flynt's home
recording studio.
As for the Veronica Mars connection....The producer and/or writer, Rob
Thomas (NOT the guy from Matchbox 20), was in local bands when he lived in
Austin and he selected quite a few Austin bands to be featured on the show.
Back in January, there was a gig featuring a few artists whose songs were
used on the show - David Garza, Daylight Titans, Rite Flyers, and Fire
Marshals of Bethlehem. There was also a special showing of episodes of the
show at Alamo Drafthouse theater also featuring a couple of bands.
