Well, love the extended Ipod thread, personally. Y'all killing me w/ the
realization that it's the reason why NL is going away, on some levels, I
suppose. But so it goes w/ technology! forcing NL to figure out how to
change, evolve and be more responsive! :-D

Anyway, I have a big problem with my ipod right now--and would greatly
appreciate any help....it's a second generation one, about 2 1/2 yrs old, I
suppose. It apparently has died.

Just stopped working. It was a slow process of it acting funny. I'd turn
it off and when I went to turn it back on. It just would not turn on.
Soemtimes it would just die mid-song even though it had a full charge.

I'd let the charge die down. Recharge and..sometimes it would work again.
Other times not. But n ow, nothing.

It's just a plain blank screen. Nothing will get my prescious oldster going
again.

Any ideas? Or ideas on where to problem shoot this thing.

Or just put it out to pasture?

I'd spring for a new one....but I just KNOW there's a sixth generation
coming up around the bend here as it's overdue for a spiffy, ground-breaking
new IPOd and if I'm going to debt myself, I want the latest/greatest and
live w/ it for years w/o any sense of frustration.

Many thanks!
Bruce
