If your issue is transfering music back & forth, then
don't get an iPod.  I had a Creative Nomad Jukebox &
it just played what you put on there & you could drag
stuff out of there just as easily - plus it was less
expensive.  I eventually bought an iPod because I
liked the interface & displaying the album art...it's
40 GB and I don't find myself taking stuff off of it
very often.
