Yes, I do. Someone came up to the merch table and told me that he had
called out for a certain song (not sure which, but it might've been "On
And On"), only to be told by Mimi from the stage, "I can't sing that
one."

Thanks, Sherman. Great to see you, too. Unfortunately, just as Ripken
had to put in some pinch-hit appearances at the end of his career in
order to keep his streak going, I had to do the same last night. I
invariably come down with a post-IPO illness every year, but this year
it struck a week early. I had to leave the Double Door after the first
band played last night (Deluxe Leisure King) and go home to get a decent
amount of sleep, so that I can weather this bug and be ready for the
homestretch of the festival. Fortunately, I had another merch worker
there to cover for me. But I ended up missing Enuff Z'nuff, among
others.
