Hi,

Who else but David Bash and IPO would perform the seeming impossible and reunite Pezband after more than twenty years? The band holds a special place in my heart, I saw them a couple of times at Great Gildersleeves in New York, among other venues, and I appreciated their hooky songs and especially Mimi Betinis' vocals.
Mimi took on extra lead guitar duties in a surprising set that sounded wonderful. Surprising in that the band emphasized the blues covers more than the other times I saw them. You be the judge:

Stella Blue
An unfamiliar rocker with Mick on lead (I Got the Keys?)
Stop! Wait a Minute
Write a Letter (a new tune?)
Please Be Somewhere Tonight (new guitar solo)
This Is Where I Belong (Kinks Kover)
I'm Not Talkin'
An unfamiliar pop song (Office Girl?)
Back in the Middle
Come on Down to My House (not the Tom Petty Song)
Angelyne (new original?)
Black Magic
A Mose Allison song also covered by Jeff Beck (Fare Thee Well?)
Stroll on (I think)
Train Kept a Rollin'
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
Hippy Hippy Shake

At least seven covers. Perhaps a Yardbirds fan would have better luck identifying the set list, but Mimi is a worthy lead guitar player and this night was an unforgettable event!

See ya,
Sherman
