Holy crap! It's Dick Dale !!>>>

So Dick Dale played that way also? I've run into a few guitarists who play
this way - for one, Tam of The General Store. I've heard Hendrix played
like this sometimes, but I've never bothered to check into it. So, I wonder
who else plays bassackwards like me? Most guitarists look at me like I'm
some kinda mutant when I play. My excuse is that I'm primarily a
keyboardist, I pretty much stick to rhythm when I pick a guitar up. It's
just the way I taught myself to do it, seemed only natural at the time. I;m
a lefty, and i'd just pick up the guitars that were lying around at
rehearsals - all righties of course. One of the downsides, though, is that
the low strings ring out at the end of the down stroke, instead of the high
strings. (too bad I don't do grunge) Another is that I'm always banging my
wrist on the control knobs!
