I raised the thought a while back but the print mags didn't want to touch it
with a ten foot pole (tudor)...probably because too many people detest
tributes and they'd never (cough) sell an ad to the companies who put out
the discs I'd cover unless they were already current advertisers. With only
so many pages to print, I guess they have to make their choices. Maybe I'll
ask one of the webzines since space isn't an issue with them.
One of my SOTT cds was called "A Tribute To Tributes" and featured a
favorite cut from several of my favorite tributes. Some were solid (Hollies
might still be my all time favorite) and some had only 1-2 tracks worth
repeated play. But that was a while back...of course, the shelves have
swelled dramatically since then. :)
