Usually when musicians pass, I don't get too worked up over it; a lot of
times it's a lifestyle thing and when people make those choices, I figure
they've lived the life they want, risks included. But that's not what seems
to have happened in this case...way too young, and so talented. His work
with the Go Betweens and his solo efforts have always been terrific, and 16
Lovers Lane has always had a spot on my top 10 list of all time ever since
its release.
R.I.P. Grant...
