A few from my hair metal memory:

Plenty of Leppard to choose from. They especially got poppier with some
of their more recent albums. You're So Beautiful and Girl Like You from X
and 21st Century Girl from Euphoria are great pop/Glam tunes.
Mystery - Dio
Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars - Bon Jovi
Givin' Yourself Away - Ratt
Changes - Black Sabbath
D'Yer Mak'er - Led Zeppelin
Yesterdays - G N' R

Uncharacteristically poppy metal or hard rock songs

Hi Folks.

I'm putting together a CD for a friend and need some good poppy songs by
bands that are normally more metal or hard rock.

Here is what I have so far.

Kiss - Beth (An obvious choice)

Montrose - Rich Man (from Jump On It - I love this song!)

Black Sabbath - It's Allright (from Technical Ecstasy, maybe beth
influenced
them, but this was a very surprising ballad)

Help me out with some more...

Cheers,
Gary
