I was on a small 12 seater plane enroute to St Barts for my honeymoon in 1988. Sitting in the seats next to us were Ocasek and Porizkova! Real nice folks to talk too. Very beauty and the beast though.

His wife Paulina Porizkova is Czech but I think he is of Polish ancestry.
