Yep, that's the song. It was a splendid moment per the song and very
subtle chemestry and shared tenderness for each other, that seems to
shine through. They were singing from different ends of the stage but
you could feel it. She was slightly shy looking fumbled at the mic a
bit but was clearly having fun (that was also part of the charm).
Really a lovely moment....AND a terrific song. The entire show was
really great. People would yell out requests and he'd reply "OK, yeah,
well do that one". Until he finally told people that he was getting "to
tired from all the requests" but then said he kidding. My only
complaint is that he was a rabid gum chewer. A few times chomping into
the mic. Just one those things for me... But, he still totally won me
over in his performance and in his songs. Really a great night.
I've been getting his music via emusic. I raced home after the show
and downloaded "The Man Who Doesn't Know How To Smile" and others right
away. Of the songs I knew prior to the show, he sang most of them
except one of my favs "Middle School Years" (I might have the title
wrong).
Oh, I also see he has a DVD coming out of live performance from the
1972 tour.
