I believe that the ex-Buzzcock Peter Shelley released a special
cassette version of his second solo album, XL1, that had the album on
side one and a computer program encoded on side two, for whatever was
the most popular British home computer of the era. Chris Sievey of
the Freshies used to do the same thing on b-sides of singles around
the same time.
