And if you are not familiar with Terry Reid, you probably are familiar with
the Cheap Trick cover of his "Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Piece" off the
first Trick album. Shelley (not the buzzcock) also wrote a bunch of glam
singles. Several for Gary Glitter. Also he did something with King Crimson,
but I can't remember what.
