Here in Columbus, Ohio, we have a Beatle Bob sort of character, he's
toothless old guy named Larry B. It's sort of a right of passage for a
band if he gets up and sings the Batman theme song with your band. The
first time he did, I was so excited, I made my band members play the
Batman tune even though we didn't know it. The 2nd time he jammed was
fun, but kinda brought the show down some.The last time he wanted to
jam, I said, "Yeah ok", then tried to blow him off. He hounded me all
night about wanting to get up and sing. He's a nice guy though and
always out to shows, but he usually gets in free.
