Conversely, I always thought the Moody Blues were mind-numbingly pretentious
and pretty much disliked their entire output save for Denny Laine's "Go Now"
UNTIL the 1980s. When 'Long Distance Voyager' began shedding a multitude of
singles to radio I remember thinking "...finally....pop music."
Mind you....I was in a punk band at the time so it could have been hearing
loss causing this. :-)
