Someone mentioned "Tapioca Tundra"....can't believe I'd forgot that one. 
One of my favorite eclectic Monkees songs.
I remember I'd sing along while I'd wave the cover of an Lp
in front of my face to get the weird tremelo/phasing effect on Mike's voice.
I must've been about 9 y.o.  Great chords and melody.
