I've always loved his monkees songs, and a number of his solo career songs.
And you've gotta love the pre-mtv cruisin' video:

I've always really dug the Monkees songs that Nesmith has written and/or
sung:
Papa Gene's Blues
The Girl I Knew Somewhere
You Told Me
What Am I Doing Hanging 'Round?
You Just May Be The One
Sweet Young Thing
Sunny Girlfriend
The Door Into Summer
I'm sure I'm missing a few, but throw in the track Rio, and who wouldn't
want to stand by that collection of tunes?
