The March/April 2006 Fufkin.com page is up. This month
we have the following record reviews:
Mike Bennett presents full length reviews of the
latest from Neko Case, Ray Davies, My Dad Is Dead,
Wisely and Hawksley Workman. He also has capsule
reviews of the new live Smoking Popes album, the
latest from Jeff May, Catfish Haven, Mark DeCerbo,
Belle & Sebastian, Tiara, Rosanne Cash, Lying In
States, Kelley Stoltz, an Australian post-punk
compilation and the reissue of apbs sole album,
Something To Believe In.
Gary Pig Gold has a great piece on a reissue from the
Viper label of the original beat music, entitled
Unearthed Merseybeat.
Alan Haber is back! His new piece is called Spring is
Back! Check it out.
Mike Bennett riffs on a variety of new topics that are
only connected by the fact that they relate t to
music, like Fufkin.coms My Space page, festivals in
Chicago this summer, Wreckless Eric, KT Tunstall and
Jen Trynin.
Eric Sorensen has more of his Further Observations
From a Jangly Music Fan. Eric muses about the CD
Jangleholic from Les Fradkin (he would seem to be
obligated to), Starry Eyed And Laughing, former Long
Ryder Sid Griffin, The Vandelays, Willy Wisely, the
movie Elizabethtown, a Nada Surf song and a whole lot
more.
Thank you for visiting Fufkin.com. We anticipate
getting back to an earlier monthly schedule with our
next issue in May 2006.
