The Good Friends bootleg (I think that is the name) has a lot of demos and
live cuts and acoustic stuff, and I think that's mostly real good. But,
again, I HAVE it...
I have no problems with the original, which I bought when it came out; I
never play Girlfriend and think, "If only they re-mastered this." So I'll
buy the new one if the bonus material is enticing and stuff I don't already
own. And I'm hoping that is the case.
BTW: had a bad break-up in '91, and listened to Girlfriend a lot at that
time. It probably goes without saying, but this is an all time great
break-up record.
