Funny enough, Audities does have a theme song...
Back in days of the Audities print magazine and internet website, when
Anthony and I had just asked Michael Coxe to run the audities list, I was
telling Tommy Dunbar of the Rubinoos how I wanted a cartoon kind of theme
song for audities, no more than a minute long.
Well, they recorded one for us. One minute long, performed by the Rubinoos
with Kyle Vincent. A very cool little tune, called "Audities (Insanely Great
Pop)" with a mash of band name lyrics in the middle that noone has been able
to decipher. Maybe I will pull a copy and make it available somewhere for
download. I also have an MP3 ringtone of it somewhere.
Cheers,
Gary

British singer-songwriter, first of the difficult post-punk band Swell Maps,
but later something of an indie hero. If Audities had a theme song, his
"Jangle Town" would be one of the prime candidates.
However, he was much like the little girl with the little curl.
