By the way, anyone who liked Nellie McKay and Sylvie Lewis' debut 
albums definitely should check out Casey Dienel's WIND-UP CANARY. 
She's Boston-based (though I think she's recently moved to Brooklyn, 
the JP of New York City) and she has the same sort of cabaret-jazz 
influence happening.  I recommend it highly.  Details and songs:
