And not just at clubs...

Tuesday night I went to see Ray Davies at the Tower Theater near Philadelphia. I had great seats, about 11 rows back.
Great sightlines and the place usually has great sound.

The show itself was great. There was one thorn however, and he sat directly behind me.

This no-talent ass-clown spent the better part of the night bellowing his approval for every song and/or movement by Ray and band. And bellow is the right word, because it wasn't quite screaming and it wasn't quite cheering. The only time he wasn't yelling was when he was swigging from his flask. A fair amount of people in the radius of this fellow shot the dirtiest of looks and tried asking (pleading) with him to stop.

"BUT I'VE NEVER SEEN THE KINKS BEFORE!!!" Aside from the fact that there was only one Kink onstage, how about being quiet so that you can actually HEAR THE KINKS.

Security came by a few times, confiscated his flask, but allowed him to stay.

I finally moved away from my seat to enjoy the rest of the show. As I made my way out of the Tower, I saw my new "friend" struggle with standing upright. I'm sure he told all his buddies the next day how great the show was.
