I woulda thought that music as we know it was on its way to extinction as well.
But, looking for some songs to use for a Jr. High athletic banquet, I checked
out Sirius' Hits channel and heard some really good POP songs!
The kids at the banquet requested very little gangsta, and were coming up with a
whole spectrum of requests.
One of the biggest requests...Stacy's Mom!
One little fella came up at one point and asked,"Excuse me sir...do you have any
Johnny Rotten and the Sex Pistols?" I asked him if he knew who they were. "Uh
huh...I don't know any songs names, but they're really cool." I managed to
remain standing, somehow...then played "God Save The Queen."
