Kevin,
I am going to read your review right away[always enjoy your pop
enthusiasm].Just let me say that I have ben following Belle and Sebastian
since the beginning.Lots of ups and downs.Always a cool tune to keep you
happy. But they have turned a corner of late. The last two are a real effort
to nail down some catchy pop."The Life Pursuit" is perhaps their best work
yet.The piano led opener,"Act of the apostle"sets the pace sweetly.I love it
more and more each play.I am reading great live reviews as well.I do
recommend you check out "Dear Catastrophe Watress" .It is a real cool
album.I want to check out their recent live recording of their first album.
Now off to "power of pop" to see what you think.
Gene
