There's a new EP on eMusic as of today with two live tracks by the New
Cars and two by Blondie. The New Cars songs are "Not Tonight" and
"Just What I Needed," and...wow, they are one mighty, mighty load of
suck. It's like a band doing a really bad Cars impersonation. I had
reserved judgment until I actually heard them, but there's just no
excuse for this, and no way that it's not going to be a fairly epic
career embarrassment.

That said, they're still not quite as awful as Blondie doing a cover
of Roxy Music's "More Than This," a song that probably would have been
beyond Debbie's technical abilities even back in the day, but these
days is a four-and-a-half-minute festival of missed notes.
