Hi y'all,
I recently got a bunch of free iTunes credits as part of a promotion they
were doing - I've used some of them (OK Go's 2nd album, Darin Murphy
"Haunted Gardenias", Kiss Alive and Kiss Alive II - yee-ha!).
Do any of you have good recommendations for decent power-pop on iTunes?
I've tried browsing, but there is so much stuff there you could spend
eternity trying to find things. I wish they had a power-pop sub genre! I
also wish they had a save-for-later facility like eMusic, but alas, no.
Actually I just remembered, I also downloaded Frisbie's "Subversive Sounds
of Love" - I haven't listened to it all yet, but the bits I have heard
sound fab, great harmonies, almost like power-prog!
