German companies did a lot of odd little flexis like that in the '60s
and '70s, advertising their comapnies through songs written by folks
like Peter Thomas and Gert Wilden. Crippled Dick Hot Wax did a
terrific two-volume set of them called POPSHOPPING a few years ago,
which I highly recommend for anyone who's into oddball things like
that.
