Hello Fellow Auditeers, (and sorry for the long post)

Since 1998, I've been collecting every single song that I've ever wanted
but never before owned and making mix discs from them. I had separated
them by decade only and come up with about a dozen discs each from each
decade: the 70's, 80's and 90's. Recently I've dumped all of them (by
decade) back into my pc, found the release dates for every single track
and reorganized the entire thing into *new* sets of chronological discs.
For example, I can now pull up an entire disc of songs from, say, 1974,
whereas before the 1974 tracks were spread out all across the "70's Set
of 12 discs". I'm really enjoying them this way. Anyway, now I've got
all these discs left, now that I've redone two of the three batches (the
90's will be next). The songs aren't in any order, but I did take good
care to make sure that all the tracks sound good and that there's at
least "some" continuity. Each track was "hand" edited, fixed, filtered,
adjusted, whatever needed doing (via Cool Edit) to make a good sounding
track in each and every case. I sold the 12-disc 70's set to a friend
several months ago and I've just finished re-doing the 80's set
chronologically, so I've now got the 13 original discs full of trax that
I made that I'd like to sell. I figure that they're worth $3.00 a piece,
anyway. Each disc comes with a track listing, ready to put in a jewel
box. I can ship them with jewel boxes or not, your choice. I put four of
the track listing pages on my scanner and scanned them into (4) 8.5 x 11
pages, so you can see every single song that's included if you'd like.
Just e-mail me off-list and I'll send them to you. They're just 4 small
jpegs, but you can easily read the tracks. Lastly, the tracks came from
"everywhere": early FTP grabs, Napster, Limewire, my own vinyl
collection, discs I borrowed from the library, discs I borrowed from
friends, discs from my own collection (took the songs I liked and then
traded in the discs), heck, a few even came from relatively new
cassettes (only a few, no tape hiss!). There are some cool remixes, some
12" stuff, a rare version here and there.

Sorry for the Fram, gang. Anyway, I'm thinking $35.00 for the set (we
can work out shipping anyway you'd like), but I'll consider any offer.
Sure, they're songs I chose, but I guarantee you all will find *lots* of
stuff you'll like. Two years as an auditeer, and one thing that I have
learned is that I am smack dab in the middle of you all when it comes to
musical taste. By the way, I just turned 47, so that will give you an
idea, perhaps, as to how old I was when I was listening to these trax.
Oh yeah, money back guaranteed if you don't like the quality or anything
else about these discs once you get 'em. My standards are pretty high.
And, as I'm sure you can all tell by now, I'm just totally freakin' nuts
when it comes to this stuff. :-) So everything is very well organized.
13 cents a song, what a deal!
