Hey guys:
I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with some
information. Back in 2002, I bought a CD from NotLame by a Louisville
band called Cooler. It's fantastic--Cars-ish arena rock, crisp and clean
and extremely catchy, with chunky guitars and big keyboards and the
whole 9 yards. I still listen to it constantly.
I was trying to find more about this band but there seems to be very
little information. I was able to find that pretty much the entire band
(including vocalists Jeff Goebel and Mark Ritcher) were in a band before
called Hopscotch Army on Slamdek Records, but that their catalog is all
out of print. I'm also curious if anyone knows what they might be up to
now and if there's any sort of contact info for any of them directly,
because I'd love to get my hands on something else they've done. I've
only heard this one album but it's so top-to-bottom fantastic that I'd
love to find some more.
