Hey Gene,
Yeah, I have, thanks for asking. It's in random play with the other
100 songs I've downloaded from emusic (thus far). I'm still getting
to know her but I like her very much. Some tracks stand out more then
others at the moment for me but I'm still digesting it. She sounds
like she could be Nellie McKay's older sister.. you know, more stable
and less sassy. That's not meant as a knock to either of them. I seem
to be drawn to her quieter songs at the moment. Anyway, very nice
songs and voice. I'm sure she would have ranked very high on my year
end list for certain had I heard it in time.
Since I'm here...Another song I never picked up until now via is
Richard X Heyman's song "Hoosier". The song with Peter Noone on lead
vocals. Straight forward pop bliss. To quote a list member's
brother...Noone's voice "is like buttua".
