Well the first major 2006 list contender just hit my player...Magneto ' Resistance is Futile' released on Popboomerang. Official release iappears to be February so I'm guessing Not Lame / Kool Kat / Jam will have it soon (if not in stock already). One not to be missed IMO!
I've also heard a bunch of 2005 releases that might have changed the order of my votes for the annual poll (but that always happens). One that I didn't hear in time that deserved a slot in the Top 20, was Double Naught Spies 'Solid Goldfinger'. Three others, which didn't catch on first listen but that have been real 'growers' the last few days, are Well Wishers 'Under the Arrows', Feel 'Invisible Train' (initially disappointing because it's a lot more laid back than their first) and Dorian Gray "Hazel Grove'. (Of course, you don't need me to tell you how excellent the Well Wishers is since it was #3 on Dr. Bash's list...right?). Thanks to everyone who submitted a list...now comes the impossible task of checking them all out. Looking forward to the final results later today....
BTW....David, can you give us a quick review of last Wednesday's Robert Post and Magic Christian shows you attended? Thanks!
JD
