I agree that UNCUT is a cool magazine.But along the same lines I would have 
to give MOJO ,another British rock magazine the edge.It really writes about 
the history of rock with a terrific passion that I admire.I think Mojo was a 
bit down for a while but there are some commited writers now and I think 
it's back.Neither are as power pop oriented as Amplifier ,but if you read 
them your general knowledge of music will be so much greater than Rolling 
Stone .Mojo has turned me on to more great American music than any 
publication.Go figure.They are doing a cd each month lately.I have a 
subscription to Mojo, and I will check out Uncut at Borders and buy once in 
a while.
