Here's another early favorite for my best of 2006 list:

They're a band out of Minneapolis-St. Paul who fit somewhere between 
the Pernice Brothers, Elliott Smith and Teenage Fanclub.

Very good stuff.  I sense the possibility of this one being "Very 
Highly Recommended" when and if Bruce at Not Lame gets his hands on it.
