Only the best slab of vinyl in all of new wave! Objectively speaking, it
does sound a bit thin now and the production values certainly don't measure
up to today's, but the lyrics are vintage Jules and there is hook after hook
flowing on this record. One of his most accessible albums across an almost
30 year career. And the bonus tracks come from a limited edition ep that
was released soon after the album. "Alive Alone" is worth the price of
admission by itself.
This is probably one of the most requested albums (until now) not yet on cd.
I've written several record companies over the years begging for it.
I kinda like and it will be mine as soon as I can get my mitts on it!

While I am a big fan of his solo work, coming
into the game late, I never heard this album.
Anyone care to describe, critique, or otherwise
give a review of this album/cd?
thanks,
michael vg
