I've been lagging in trying to prepare a top 20 list for 2005. Not enough time or brain matter to get it done this year!
But...a few late entries that have blown me away:
The Wallstones - Pleasure and Pain - Outstanding Swede Pop, great classic Swede production values, harmonies and melodies that just swirl around your head for days!
Bruce at NotLame has this one!
Dorian Gray - Hazel Groce 07:46 - Been waiting a number of years for a follow up to their debut! This did not disappoint. It's vintage Dorian Gray! Torbin Freytag's voice has a strange nasally but sharp sound to it.....but it works. Their songs, in all of their anthemic glory, just rawk!
