"Danny Hutton Hitters" or "THE Danny Hutton Hitters"?  Curious, is all.  Wasn't Danny Hutton one of Three Dog Night?

Yeah, he had a minor hit with it in '84 -- Kershaw's album HUMAN 
RACING is really quite good if you're into the '80s synth pop thing at 
all, it's along the lines of Howard Jones but a bit less precious --  
but you might also remember it from the soundtrack to PRETTY IN PINK, 
where it was covered by someone named Danny Hutton Hitters who I don't 
think I've ever heard of before or since.  And come to think of it, I 
have a nagging feeling that someone else covered this back about a 
decade or so ago.  Funny how some relatively obscure songs get that 
kind of treatment.
