What I truly don't understand is why you think your initial post --  
which was an unwarranted slam  -- was fair game, and my response is an 
unmotivated attack.  Seriously, dude, what on earth was gained by you 
being a prick about the misuse of a commonly misused word?  The only 
purpose of my response to your post was that I knew you were going to 
be annoyed by it, which I find amusingly hypocritical.

As well you should -- take comfort, that is -- since I'm well aware 
that my opinions are basically meaningless.  (However, I do own both 
GET READY FOR EYTAN and the TAO OF STEVE soundtrack, which I acquired 
from CD Baby and my best friend's ex-husband who was on the film crew, 
respectively.)  Although, for the record, I chose "talentless hack" 
simply because it was the most insulting phrase I could think of at 
the moment, and it's not indicative of my actual opinion of your 
music.  Again, I just thought your initial post was needlessly 
obnoxious and required a response in kind.
